BOSTON, MA January 10, 2014 – Two books published this month feature New England Eye Center physicians as authors. Released by Elsevier Saunders Publishing in print and online forms are: The Handbook of Retinal OCT: Optical Coherence Tomography and Ophthalmology, Fourth Edition.
The Handbook of Retinal OCT is a 256-page portable guide for the interpretation of Optical Coherence Tomography scans. It is co-authored by doctors Jay S. Duker, Nadia Waheed and Darin Goldman. Duker is director of New England Eye Center, as well as chairman and professor of Ophthalmology at Tufts Medical Center, Tufts University School of Medicine.
With Handbook of Retinal OCT, users can master the latest imaging methods used to evaluate retinal disease, uveitis, and optic nerve disorders. It’s an easy-to-use, clinically oriented handbook that locates answers quickly with templated chapters each focused on one specific diagnosis or group of diagnoses with a particular OCT appearance.
