The New England Eye
Center – Wellesley is a newly renovated
comprehensive ophthalmology center, staffed
by a group of experienced ophthalmic
specialists and surgeons.
In Wellesley, New England Eye Center offers consultation, complete diagnostic testing and advanced laser vision correction with specialists in cataract surgery, retina, glaucoma, and pediatric ophthalmology. We also offer Vision Rehabilitation and Low Vision services.
Specialized services at the Wellesley Center include:
Digital Fluorescien & Indocyanine Green (ICG) Angiography
We offer the latest in angiograpy, with onsite instant digital processing. ICG angiography is particularly useful in eyes with age-related maculopathy and suspected choroidal neovascularizations.
Laser Treatment
We have complete in-office facilities for laser treatment, including ion and diode laser sources.
Laser Vision Correction
The center offers pre-operative evaluation, laser vision correction including LASIK, and post-operative follow-up care.
Ultrasonography
Diagnostic A and B scan ultrasonography, including consultation.
Automated Perimetry
Diagnostic testing with the Humprhey Instrument HFA II 750, the state-of-the-art automated Perimeter.
Retinopathy of Prematurity
Initial evaluation and treatment of infants with retinopathy of prematurity by exPerienced retinal surgeons.
Surgery
Our surgeons are affiliated with Tufts-New England Medical Center, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Boston Eye Surgery & Laser Center, Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and Dedham Cataract & Laser Center.
