Dr. Ahmad practices Comprehensive Eye Care. Her clinical interests include medical and laser treatment of glaucoma and cataract surgery. She has a special interest in ocular inflammatory eye disease (uveitis), eye allergies and dry eye disease.
Dr. Ahmad received her Bachelor's Degree from William Smith College in 1996 and then her medical degree from the Aga Khan University Medical College in 2002. She then completed an ophthalmology research fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (Harvard Medical School teaching hospital) in 2004. She went on to successfully complete her internship in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston (2006). Following the completion of her internship, Dr. Ahmad received training in Ophthalmology at Boston Medical Center.
In 2013, Dr. Ahmad was selected to serve as the Director of the New England Eye Center in Leominster, MA.
Dr. Ahmad's academic achievements include multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Ahmad is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi. She is currently accepting new patients.
